• Note Content: All sticky notes, reminders, and data you create are stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage API.
• No Tracking: We do not use any analytics or tracking scripts. We don't know what websites you visit or what notes you write.

2. Permissions

To function correctly, Post-in requires specific permissions. Here is how they are used:

• Storage: To save your notes and settings on your computer.
• Context Menus: To allow you to right-click and create a note instantly.
• Alarms & Notifications: To provide the reminder functionality you set for your notes.
• Unlimited Storage: To ensure you can save as many notes as you need without data loss.
• Host Permissions: Needed to display your notes on the websites where you created them.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data lives on your machine. If you choose to use the "Export" feature, a file is generated locally for your own backup purposes. If you use the "Import" feature, the data is read directly from the file you provide. We never have access to these files.

4. Third-Party Sharing

Since we do not collect your data, we cannot and do not sell, trade, or share your information with any third parties.
