Mak Neep (หมากหนีบ)

A traditional Thai board game where players capture pieces by flanking. Includes Player vs Player and simple AI mode.

How to Play Mak Neep (หมากหนีบ)


Objective: Capture all of your opponent's pieces or have more remaining pieces after 60 turns.
Pieces: 🔴 = Player 1, 🔵 = Player 2
Movement: Pieces can move in straight lines (horizontal or vertical)
You cannot jump over other pieces
Diagonal movement is not allowed
Capturing Rules:
Single-side trap: If an opponent's piece is adjacent to your piece and followed by your own piece again in that direction, the opponent's piece is captured
Sandwich trap: If an opponent's piece or group of pieces is located between two of your own pieces on the same straight line, all trapped pieces will be captured
Capturing happens automatically after a valid move
Game Modes:
PVP: Two human players take turns
PvE [Easy]: Play against an easy AI (depth 0)
PvE [Normal]: Play against a medium AI (depth 1)
PvE [Hard]: Play against a hard AI (depth 3)
Win Condition:
If a player's pieces are all captured, they lose instantly
After 60 turns, the player with more remaining pieces wins
